The Parawaiting Continues

After the accident where much of my para gear was damaged or destroyed (story for another time), I sat out a few weekends waiting for repairs and replacement gear. But as of two weeks ago, everything is back in place minus a screen for my variometer.

But in this time, the prevailing wind has gone northerly, which shuts down just about everything. That said, last weekend had a very nice hike up the hill Long Ke Wan and the opportunity to ground handle in some solid winds at the hill top.

Steve flew a sledder despite the unfavorable crosswinds at the launch zone, as evidenced by this video:

Helen, Agost, and I all opted to keep our feet on the ground due to the fiddly conditions.

Good day to get the gear dirty even if I didn't get airbourne.
